Introducing APEX Car Competitions

We’re super excited to showcase one of our latest projects for Apex Car Competitions. Based in the UK, Apex Car Competitions specialise in sourcing rare and sort after vehicles that they make available to the masses via their online raffle system.

THE BRIEF

Apex approached UNBXD to assist them in developing their brand identity, e-commerce online store, and strategic digital marketing post-launch. Their core goal was to both showcase their range of vehicles in the best light possible, as well as offer their customers a robust and secure place to purchase tickets to their competitions.

OUR APPROACH

After an initial research phase and competitions analysis, it soon became clear that in order to succeed APEX would need to stand out from the crowd and also express the attention details that their team offers from start to finish, in turn this would reinforce trust in the consumer and subsequently result in a higher number of sales.

In regards to the branding, here’s some notes from our team:

“I created a combination mark for this concept, as the brand name itself ’Apex Car’ is memorable when combined with strong typography, this creates strong brand recognition. The inspiration behind the striped markings was taken from “apex” track marks, adding this to the typography gave the logo a more sporty and extreme appearance. The strong contrast between Red, Black and White allows the branding and the identity to become easily recognisable as a car brand.” - Lisa Drake, Graphic Designer.

In regards to the website, we wanted to make the customer journey as simple as possible and also answer any questions that the customer may have before completing a transaction, we did this by segregating a ‘How it Works’ page, FAQ’s and in-depth T&C’s easily accessible from anywhere on the site.

SOLUTION

For the development of the website we chose WordPress as the CMS due to the ease of management both internally and externally post-launch and flexibility in terms of customisation to suit their unique requirements in regards to ticket counter and count-down clock. We also chose WordPress for being a robust platform which will support them in terms of scalability and longevity.

The design, layout and functionality of the site is optimised for conversion. We integrated some unique additional features such as a live chat, ai-powered chat bot, re-marketing tools plus more.

RESULTS

Our approach and process resulted in an informative showcase e-commmerce website that is not only easy to navigate but also designed to sell. The website is an evocative and effective platform that engages the user and progresses the brands goal in elevating their digital experience.
